environmental conditions. He is
particularly interested in the way people
negotiate through differences of culture,
class, history, belief, and need, especially
in America, a society more pluralistic
than any other that has existed on Earth.
His sensibility is also guided by 11
years of study and work as a dancer and
choreographer. He graduated from
Wesleyan University, where he studied
religion and anthropology, natural
sciences, and dance.
